Ahmedabad: With the maximum number of 1,212 new cases of coronavirus reported in Gujarat in a day, the total corona cases in the state have risen to 85,678. The health department said that with the death of 14 patients, the death toll has risen to 2,883. The department further informed that on the recovery of 980 infected people in one day, they were discharged from hospitals and the total number of people recovering has reached 68,257.

The rate of people getting healthy in the state has gone up to 80 percent. During the last 24 hours, the maximum 75,258 samples were tested in the state. A total of 16,95,325 samples have been examined so far. At the same time, with the arrival of 179 new cases of corona in Ahmedabad district, the total number of infected patients increased to 30,020. With the death of 3 more infected, the death toll has reached 1,680. A total of 176 people were discharged from hospitals in the district. So far, 24,932 infected people have been cured.

Talking about Corona cases in India, then the virus cases in the country crossed the figure of three million on Sunday, while 16 days earlier this number had crossed the two million mark. 69,239 new cases were reported on Sunday. But it is a matter of relief that the number of people recovering from the infection has exceeded 2.5 million and the record is increasing in the investigation.
