The whole world is suffering due to corona infection and crores of families have been infected with it. But the Coronavirus affected a 14-year-old girl to such an effect that her sniffing capacity has been lost for the past six months. The girl, who got rid of coronavirus six months ago, is yet to feel the taste and smell. Gwendolyn Kelan, 14, sniffs four essential oils every day to regain her nose-sniffing ability, but all oils smell only like burnt rubber.
According to the report received, the high school student says that even after six months of corona negative, all the food tastes like vomiting, and fears that she will never be able to enjoy her favorite food again. Gwendolyn, from Michigan, USA, suffers from paralysis. The disease produces a deformity of smell which is said to be a side effect of coronavirus and long-term corona symptoms.
His father David Kelan, 51, fears that his daughter will no longer have to live without a sense of smell and taste. He said, "Ear nose and throat doctors have told us that since a long time has passed, it is possible that they may never feel the smell and taste.'' Gwendolyn was found to be infected with corona on January 30 this year. She was thrown out of school for two weeks after she was diagnosed with coronavirus symptoms after stomach ache, headache, and vomiting.
