Prayagraj: The coronavirus epidemic in the country continues to wreak havoc. Every day the number of infected patients is creating a new record. In the sequence, 141 people have been confirmed infected with the coronavirus on Saturday in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh, after which the total number of people found to have been infected with this virus has increased to 2,569.
Two people have died due to corona infection here on Saturday. After which the number of people who died of coronavirus has been 54. On giving information to the media, Chief Medical Officer Dr. GS Bajpai has said that 141 new cases of infection have been registered on Saturday and the number of people found so far has increased to 2,569.
He further informed that 49 people have been discharged from the hospital on Saturday. So far 1,185 persons have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. He has said that after two people died of an infection on Saturday, the number of people who died of Coronavirus has reached 54 here. In the district, 1,330 people are being treated in various hospitals.
