New Delhi: A fire is being reported in Lajpat Nagar Market, one of the largest markets in the country's capital, Delhi. The fire broke out in the Central Market of Lajpat Nagar, leading to a stampede in the area. As soon as the fire was reported, 15 fire tenders have been sent to the spot for relief and rescue operations.

 

 

But, the fire is yet to be controlled. Several shops are also said to have been burnt in the massive fire. This may lead to huge economic losses to shopkeepers. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. But, there are apprehensions that a short circuit may be the reason behind this. Several shops are feared to have caused huge economic damage in the fire. The fire has not yet been doused even after 15 fire tenders were on the spot.

As soon as the fire broke out, people were evacuated from nearby shops in time. At present, no statement has been received from the fire department regarding the fire.
