A case of a famous actress and former TMC MP Munmun Sen entering her south Kolkata residence and beating up her assistants has come to light. Kolkata Police has taken four persons into custody on the charge. According to police, a group of about 15 persons had allegedly entered the former MP's flat in Baliganj on Saturday. Thereafter, three domestic helpers were assaulted by those persons. Munmun Sen called the police due to this after which the criminals fled the spot.
An FIR was filed in the case and subsequently, persons from Chakraberia and Padmapukur areas were taken into custody on Sunday, a senior police officer said. We are trying to find out why they entered the house. Police are also searching for others involved in the incident. He also said that four arrested persons have been sent to judicial custody.
