Patna: 15 students from IIT in Bihar's capital Patna have been found corona positive. Vigilance has been stepped up in the institute following reports that such a large number of students were found infected with corona on Monday. Being a residential complex, a lot of precautions are now being taken in the entire premises. IIT Patna Registrar Dr. Vishwa Ranjan has said that the infected students have been quarantined.
He said a team of doctors is keeping a watch on the health of these students from moment to moment. There is no such thing as a concern. These students have not been diagnosed with corona symptoms, but their reports have been positive in the course of the examination. In fact, online classes have been conducted in the institute for a long time. A few weeks ago, the final year students of B.Tech and M.Tech were invited by the Institute to meet their needs.
Two days ago, three students were found to be corona positive during the random examination. This was followed by scrutiny of the remaining 41 members, out of which 12 students were found positive. Vigilance has been increased on the campus after so many students were found positive at the same time in the institute. The institute is ascertaining from where the infection among the students has eventually flattened.
