Kolkata: An incident has come to light from Uluberia town of Howrah district of West Bengal, knowing that your soul will also tremble. In fact, 17 embryos have been found from a garbage dump in this city. Of these foetuses found lying in a garbage dump in ward number 31 in the Banibala Khara area of Uluberia, 10 are girls and seven are boys.

After getting information about this, the administration has taken all the fetuses into custody and sent them to the hospital for postmortem. According to Uluberia municipality, there are around 30 private nursing homes within a radius of 1.5 km of the area. Police suspect that these embryos have been dumped as garbage after abortion here. Police are investigating it.

Let me tell you that about two months ago, a similar incident was reported from Karnataka. On June 25, the remains of seven foetuses were found in a drain in Belagavi here. All fetuses were just 5 months old. The incident took place near a bus stand in Mudalgi town of Belagavi. Police had expressed apprehension that hospitals around the bus stand might have dumped these foetuses after abortion. A police investigation is going on in this case.
