Bhagalpur: In a shocking incident a, a man has been arrested for throwing acid on her neighbor. The 17-year-old victim was badly injured after her neighbor threw acid on her, following a failed attempt to molest her. The unfortunate incident occurred on April 19, when the victim was at home with her mother. The accused, Prince, along with three other persons barged into the victim's house and tried to molest her, while keeping her mother at gunpoint.

When the girl resisted, they threw the acid on her face. We have recovered a gun from the spot" Deputy Superintendent of Police Roop Ranjan Hargave said to media persons. The main accused has been apprehended in this regard. The victim has been shifted to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), where she is being treated for her injuries.

In another incident from Delhi, an 18-year-old boy died on Friday. He died after a stone was thrown at him in a park. The deceased identified as Arman had gone missing on Friday late evening. Her relatives filed his missing complaint at the local police station. The boy's body was recovered this morning from a park in Krishna Nagar. The body was sent for post-mortem and police added that an investigation is underway.
