Itanagar: A big news has surfaced about 17-year-old Meeram Taraun, who was kidnapped from the Arunachal region. The Chinese border PLA was accused of kidnapping the boy. Now, it is the PLA that has told the Indian Army that they have found a missing boy from Arunachal. "The Chinese Army has informed us that they have found a missing boy from Arunachal Pradesh and further due process is being followed," said Lt Col Harshvardhan Pandey, PRO Defence In Tezpur."

Taraun had been searched for several days. Just two days ago, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson had said on the kidnapping allegations on the PIL that he had "no information in the matter". The spokesperson also said that PLA protects the border and prevents activities like illegal entry or exit. The abduction of Taraun was reported by Bharatyojanata Party MP from Arunachal Tapir Gao on Wednesday.

He had also said that the PLA had kidnapped a youth from Siang district inside the Indian territory. Identified as Meeram Taraun. The boy was abducted by the Chinese army from the Lungta Jor area of the Seungla area. Gao told reporters that Taraun's friend Johnny Yiing had said he had been kidnapped. Yiing managed to escape from the PLA. He then informed the local authorities of the case. As soon as the Indian Army came to know about Taraun, he immediately contacted the PLA. The army told the PLA that the boy had gone to collect the herb but had strayed. He could not be traced. The Indian Army was making constant efforts to locate Taraun.
