Rome: The role of her relatives in the murder of an 18-year-old girl of Pakistani origin is under suspicion. Italian police have traced the girl's family and relatives. Police have feared that Saman Abbas's family members strangled her to death and buried her body in the field.

Saman Abbas, 18, has been missing since May 1, 2021, the Daily Mail reported. On camera in CCTV, she was last seen on a farm near The City of Regio Amilia in central Italy, where her 46-year-old father Shabbar worked. Police say Shabbar conspired with Saman's mother Nazia Shaheen (47), uncle Hasnain Danish (33), cousins Nomanulhaq (33) and Ejaz Ikram (28) to kill her and bury the body in the field.

According to police, Saman had refused to marry her cousin in Pakistan as she had a boyfriend in Italy and wanted to lead a life in a 'western' lifestyle. After which the relatives murdered her. Ejaz, a cousin, has been arrested in France, which has been handed over to Italy. Shabbar and Nazia (Abba-Ammi) are in Pakistan. He has denied killing his daughter.
