Tehran: Since the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini after being beaten by moral police in Iran, there have been voices against fundamentalism from all over the country. Muslim women opposing the hijab have brought the government to its knees. According to Norway-based Iran Human Rights, the anti-government protests have so far claimed 185 lives, including 19 children. The highest number of deaths were reported from Sistan and Balochistan provinces.

The anti-government protests, triggered by Amini's funeral the day after her death on September 16, have become major trouble for the Iranian government. Protesters took to the streets demanding the ouster of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. At the same time, the government has described these demonstrations as a conspiracy by Iran's enemies, including the US. The government says that 20 security forces have also lost their lives in these protests.

In the video shared on social media, it can be seen that the students of schools and colleges have now taken charge of these protests. Even after the use of tear gas shells, the protesters are still holding the front. Human rights groups say security forces are also using ammunition on protesters in many areas. However, the Iranian government has denied this.
