New Delhi: Minority Kashmiri Pandits escaped from Kashmir 30 years ago. In the meantime, how many governments have come, how many seasons have come. The generations have changed, but the Kashmiri Pandits return home and fight for justice. The story of Exodus is not hidden from anyone. Thirty years passed while referring to what happened in 1989–1990, but nothing has changed for this suffering community. However, what is changing is the existence of this community, culture, customs, language, temples and other religious places, gradually disappearing at the mouth of time cycle.

The month of January brings an expectation for New Year all over the world, but for Kashmiri Pandits this month is full of sorrow, pain and despair. 19 January has become a symbol of the tragedy that occurred in Kashmir in 1990. The jihadi Islamic forces inflicted havoc on the Kashmiri Pandits that they had only three options - either convert, die or emigrate. Due to this fear, four lakh Kashmiri Pandits escaped overnight leaving everything.

Hundreds of minority Kashmiri Pandits were brutally killed by the terrorists. Many women were gangraped and murdered. In those days, many people were abducted and beaten on the day they arrived. The houses of the Pandits were being attacked by stones, continuous attacks on temples. At that time there was no one to help Kashmiri Pandits, neither the police, nor the administration, nor any leader nor any human rights people. Even today, these people are looking at the government with hopeful eyes that they can be heard.
