Aligarh: The second wave of the corona at Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh has broken down. Here, in the last 20 days, 19 professors have died due to corona and other diseases. Besides the professor, the death toll of AMU employees and retired employees have crossed 40.

The second wave of the corona is proving more deadly for AMU. Educationist Sir Syed Ahmed Khan founded Mohammad Anglo-Oriental College in 1875. Which came to be known as Aligarh Muslim University in 1920. From 1920 to today, there has never been such a worrying period in AMU when such a large number of existing professors, retired professors and other employees have died.

The AMU arrangements are concerned about this and at the same time, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the AMU. Almost every day, AMU is mourning the passing away of some professors, retired professors, and other staff. So far, 19 professors of AMU have passed away in the last 20 days. These do not include retired professors and other employees. The death toll by adding such people is said to be more than 40.
