According to the information, in the hostel of a school in Degaon of Risod tehsil of the district today, after 190 students were found positive. For a long time, the administration has been working hard to bring Corona under control, but it does not seem to have any good results. Today it is surprising to find so many patients positive at one place.

It has become a matter of great concern. Today, Washim District Magistrate S Shanmugarajan reviewed the hostel situation. According to the news, the students stay in the hostel apart from studying in the ashram shala located in village Degaon of Risod tehsil. According to reports, all these students are from different regions of Amravati district. At this time the second wave of Corona has started, which has started from Amravati itself.

A week long lockdown has been imposed in Amravati. A night curfew has been announced in Balaghat district bordering Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The curfew will remain in force from 10 am to 6 am. DM has asked people to strictly follow social distancing and wear masks.
