New Delhi: Director Om Raut’s recent movie “Adipurush” is under problems since the day it was released. Since then, several people have raised objections to certain dialogues of the movie and the depictions of epic characters like Hanuman and Ravana.Many people are against the movie and demanding for a ban on the movie.

In 1992, Yugo Sako;a Japanese Film Maker Yugo Sako made the anime version of Ramayana. The animated version of Ramayana was named as “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama”. The film has a rating of 9.2 on IMDb which is the highest ever among all the films based on Ramayana and even the Ramanand Sagar’s TV show.The film was appreciated in Japan and also worldwide but the film did not get clearance for releasing in India.The reason behind the restrictions over the film was Babri Masjid Riots and also there were strong Divisions and conflicts between the two communities.

Not only this even The Hindu groups also protested against the film saying how a foreign production company could make a movie on Hindu Culture. Later after 3 years The Hindi version of the film was eventually aired on Doordarshan in 1995. Both the versios are available on Youtube now.When the film was released people realized that the film was made keeping in mind the authentic Indian Culture and nothing wrong was presented in the movie.

The animated film was made in both Hindi and English with Arun Govil reprising his role in the Hindi version and being joined by Amrish Puri as Ravana, Namrata Sawhney as Sita, and Shatrughan Sinha as the narrator. The English version also featured notable names like Rahul Bose, Pearl Padamsee, and Cyrus Broacha.
