Indore: Tejaji Nagar police in Madhya Pradesh's economic capital Indore have arrested two accused and seized more than three quintals of ganja from them. The value of the recovered ganja is estimated to be around Rs 30 lakh. According to the police station in-charge RD Kanwa, we had received information from the informer that two suspects were going from Simrol to Tejaji Nagar with ganja on a bike. The police team installed a checking point at the spot as per the informer's information.

According to the informer, two suspected miscreants were seen coming from bike number MP-09-XA-1324. They were stopped and questioned by the police. The accused have been identified as Ramdas son of Munnalal Maliwar resident Gram Mandal (Simrol) and Rahul son of Bhagwan Singh Baria resident Gram Mandal. About 4 kg 200 grams of ganja was found in the sack kept with them. He said the goods were brought from a field at Village Barki chowki.

The police then reached the farm and searched the field and found about three quintals of 400 grams of ganja. A case has been registered in this regard at Bagod police station Balwara. The accused are now being questioned in connection with other miscreants.  755/2021 Section 8/20 NDPS Act against the accused and investigation has been initiated.
