Guwahati: Two female terrorists involved in the terrorist union NDFB (S) in Assam have been arrested by the army with weapons. The banned organisation NDFB (S) had mobilized poor rural women in a campaign to lure and recruit. Both women terrorists have been arrested by the army.

In Assam, two women terrorists of the militant federation National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB-S) have been arrested by the Indian Army's Red Horn unit along with Assam Police in an operation at Panbari in Chirang district. In Assam, the campaign to involve poor rural women in terrorist organisations has been exposed. Police said, the two women are hardcore terrorists of the NDFB who were trained in the jungles of Nagaland and were recruited by the banned terrorist outfit NDFB SK Batha and Bidai faction in Chirang district of Assam. Both women militants were transported from Nagaland to Chirang district of Assam.

The names of the two women terrorists arrested by the Army are Rotima Borgoyri alias B Rami (Joint Secretary, Women Welfare and 42 Batch Instructors) 40-batch NDFB (S) Cadre and Julie Basumtari alias B.G.
