In this case, the police has given information about this on Thursday (21-05-2020). Talking about this matter, police said that "Both incidents happened in two different places of Jhalawar district within 18 hours.
One incident is of Tuesday night while the second incident is of Wednesday afternoon. In the first case, a 16-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by a neighbour on Wednesday afternoon. At that time her parents had gone to work under MGNREGA in the village." After the parents returned, a case was registered at the police station. In this case, police have registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
The accused in the case is absconding and continuous efforts are being made to arrest him. Talking about the second case, the second case is of Tuesday (19-05-2020) night. When a 13-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by a 19-year-old boy in her neighbourhood and according to police, the victim reached the police station with her parents on Wednesday morning and filed a rape case against him.
