Hyderabad: On Tuesday, another Intermediate student committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house in Shabad after failing in Civics subject. The deceased identified as S Jyothi. According to Shabad police, she was studying CEC second year in Vivekananda Junior College in Chevella.

She went into depression after coming to know the result of the exam and committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house at Thirumalapur. Parents with the help of relatives rushed her to Osmania General Hospital for emergency treatment but on the way she died with grievous burn injuries. Police registered a case and are investigating.

In the meantime, a girl, who failed in Intermediate exams, has committed suicide at Naginenipally village of Bommalaramaram mandal of Yadadri-Bhongir district on Wednesday. According to the reports, the girl, Mithi (19), third daughter of Akaram Ravindra Chary and Madhavi couple, appeared for senior Inter exams. Mithi came to know that she failed in Zoology and Chemistry subjects. Ever since, she has become moody. Depressed over the failure, she hanged herself to a ceiling fan in one of the rooms of her house on Wednesday.
