Director S Shankar's magnum opus 2.0 which features Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar have at last crossed the 150 crore mark at the box office today. In spite of the release of Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput's Kedarnath, the sci-fi drama racked up Rs 9.15 crore at the ticket windows on Saturday. It is to be noted that the movie witnessed an upward trend as compared to its Friday collections, which was Rs 5.85 crore. 2.0 has now become the first film of Akshay Kumar to get this feat.
Famous Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of 2.0 on his Twitter handle with caption "#2Point0 picks up speed again... Growth on second Sat [vis-à-vis second Fri]: 56.41%...
