Mumbai: Four cannons have been found by the employees of the Municipal Corporation during excavations at Kasturchand Park (KP Ground) in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. These guns are said to be of the time of the British. Historians are describing these cannons from 1813 to 1817. At present, the army has taken these cannons. In fact, these days Nagpur Municipal Corporation is working to develop KP Ground. Under beautification, gardens, parking, walking paths (walking tracks) have to be prepared.

With this, there is no accumulation of water in the field, so a big dragon line is being laid. These cannons have been found during excavation from JCB of the same line. According to the staff of the municipality, during the excavation from JCB, something of iron had collided. In such a situation, four cannons were found nine feet six inches long, one by one. Along with this, a stand which stands for cannons was also excavated.

There is also a memorial in this ground which already has three similar cannons. According to the historian B.S.Andhare, from the years 1817 to 1818, the army of the second Bhosale king fought with the British army. The British used cannons at that time. After the war, the cannons would have remained here. The cannons may have sunk into the ground with time.
