Kaushambi: Police of Mohabtpur Pinsa police station in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh have arrested 20,000 bounty offender Babbu Srivastava alias Raj Srivastava on Saturday. Police recovered looted jewellery, tantrums and live cartridges from the arrested crooks. The miscreant is said to be a resident of Beniganj mohalla of Prayagraj police station Kareli.

The police arrested Babbu Srivastava, accused on the secret information of the informant . After the arrest of the miscreant, the Kaushambi police have breathed a sigh of relief. According to SP Pradeep Gupta, on December 18, 2018, a robbery took place in the Piinsa police station area of a sarafa businessman, whose case was registered.

One of the accused in the crime, Shivam Dubey, had gone to jail. Many jewellery of loot were recovered from him. He had mentioned the name of the accused and since then it was wanted. A reward of 20 thousand was declared on it. He has been arrested by the Police. A tank cartridge and other materials along with jewellery have been recovered from him. He has named two other accused who are being searched by the police.
