Where it is learnt that the 4-member SIT going to interrogate the Dera chief is led by IG SPS Parmar. The special team consists of Senior SP MS Bhullar, DSP Lakhbir Singh and Inspector Dalbir Singh. Amid a media interaction, Parmar said that 'this is part of the investigation process that we are pursuing.' He reported that SIT has prepared questions for Ram Rahim. According to reports, 3 cases of theft of guru granth sahib from Burj Jawahar Singh Wala Gurudwara, installation of unholy posters written by hand in Bargadi and Burj Jawahar Singh Wala and finding torn pages of the holy book in Bargadi were then handed over to the CBI by the BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal governments. It is said that the dera chief's orders were issued to avenge the insults made by the Sikh preacher to the followers. A case was registered against 3 dera committee members Harsh Dhuri, Sandeep Bareta and Pradeep Kaler in the case but they are absconding.
