Automobile manufacturer Toyota is bringing a new model of its popular SUV Fortuner. Called the 2019 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo, this model was shown to dealers in July by the company, which is scheduled to be launched on September 12. According to information received from the company, the Indian model of Fortuner TRD Sportivo will have a 2.8-liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine. This engine generates 174 hp power and 450 Nm torque. It will get a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Its mileage will be 12.9 kilometers per liter.

Petrol engines and manual gearbox options will not be available in the new model, so TRD badging will be available on the seats and instrument panel inside the SUV as well. The leather finish and stitching contrast on the seats will be in red color. Price information for Fortuner TRD Sportivo has not been revealed yet. It is believed that its ex-showroom price is expected to be around Rs 33 lakhs.
