New Delhi: The new labour law is said to be implemented in the new year 2022. This is going to change everything from the salary of the employees to their holidays and working hours. Yes, there will be four days of work a week and three days off. At the same time, the working hours will be 12 instead of eight. On the other hand, the Labour Ministry has also made it clear that the 48-hour working rule will remain in force a week. Let me tell you all that it will also have the facility that where eight hours of work is done, there will be a day off. A senior official recently informed that, "At least 13 states have prepared draft rules of these laws. '

Let us also tell you that there are many provisions in the new labour sector which will affect the salaried employees working in the office to the labourers working in mills and factories. Under the information received, four Labour Codes on Wages, Social Security, Industrial Relations and Business Security and Health and Working Conditions are likely to be implemented by next financial year. The Centre is said to have finalized the rules under these codes and now the States have to frame rules on their own, as labour is a subject of concurrent list. In this regard, an official said that four labour codes are likely to come into force by the next financial year.

He further said, "A large number of States have finalized their draft rules. On the other hand, the Centre had completed the process of finalising the draft rules of these codes in February 2021, but since labour is a concurrent subject, the Centre wants the States to implement it simultaneously. On the other hand, experts say that the new law will bring about a major change in the way the basic pay (basic) and provident fund (PF) of employees is calculated. This will increase the contribution of employees to the PF account every month on the one hand but reduce the salary (take home) in hand. In fact, the new Labour Code restricts allowances to 50 per cent and will bring in 50 per cent of the total salary of the employees.
