'20-25 leaders can’t defeat Prime Minister Modi' Amit Shah slams Mamata Banerjee

Malda: Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah on Tuesday began the campaign for 2019 Lok Sabha Polls in West Bengal by holding a rally in Malda district. He attacked on the Mamata Banerjee-led state government and accused the Trinamool Congress of killing people.

Amit Shah was diagnosed with swine flu last week and Considering his health condition, the microphone through which Shah is delivering his speech is sanitised. Amit shah aimed grand alliance and said  “20-25 leaders can’t hold hands and defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he is being supported by 100 crore people.”

Just a few days ago  West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a mega public meeting in Kolkata's Brigade Parade Ground, which was attended by almost all top opposition leaders. Shah will address rallies in Jhargram and Birbhum districts on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the West Bengal unit of the BJP earlier today accused the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers of vandalising decorative gates and posters ahead of Shah's rally. state BJP president Dilip Ghosh said, "Gates, welcome arches, posters, cut-outs, festoons have been vandalised ahead of our national president's rally. Gates have set on fire. Vehicles carrying our supporters are being stopped in many places,"

After hiccups in approval, Malda district administration granted BJP the permission to land its helicopter when Shah arrives for the rally on January 22 at a ground that’s bang opposite to where the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lands her chopper.
