The monsoon has reached the southern western coasts of Kerela, there have been heavy unstoppable rains which have caused a lot of destruction in the state. Loss of property and life, including 21 deaths and 591 housebroken completely.
The emergency operation centre has given alert in all the hilly area for floods and landslides till June of 15th.
The area is coastal and therefore the fishermen have been warned about the same.
The town namely, Peermade in Idukki have been completely deserted as there was 32cm of rain witnessed which caused the houses and property flowing in the water.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there are heavy rains expected in the Kerela and lakshwadeep region. Ranging right from 7cm to 20 cms
The hilly locations may receive heavy landslides and the fishermen are advised to be cautious as there might betides.

While Peermade in Idukki received 32 cm rains, other places namely Vythiri in Wayanad reported 15 cm showers of rain, Munnar in Idukki with 13 cm rain.

IMD, Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) and Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) officials have informed that there might be extreme winds flowing, for the monsoon to reach The coasts of Karnataka. The conditions for the coastal areas of the east, west-central and south-west is going to be worse. Alerted with a wind speed of 60 km per hour
 By reports of the irrigation department, the water levels of the damn have reached their limits and they will be opened for the water to release.

The deaths caused in the city is mostly due to drowning in water and falling off trees.
Destroyed 591 houses completely while 2221 housed have been partially damaged
The disaster control management has been alerting the residents of the places beforehand.
