Many Indians have returned home under the Vande Bharat Mission. Now 220 Indians have returned home from Malaysia. These people trapped abroad due to covid-19 lockdown have been brought to Amritsar in Punjab on Saturday. The first phase of this mission started on 7 May.

Be aware that after the lockdown in India to prevent covid-19 spread from Wuhan, China, people are stranded in the country and abroad. To help such people, the government is providing all possible help. Vande Bharat Mission and Operation Setu Abhiyan have been implemented by the government to help such people. A large number of people have also returned home from abroad under this campaign. Apart from this, this type of assistance is still going on.

Due to the lockdown imposed in India, people got trapped in different parts of the country. Special trains and buses were run by all the government to help them. Currently the process of unlock-2 has started in India. The number of active people in the country has crossed 8 lakh 23 thousand, while the number of those who die is 22 thousand. 28,637 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country and 551 people have died. 62.93 percent patients have recovered from infection. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), there have been 2,80,151 tests during this period. A total of 1,15,87,153 trials have been conducted in India so far.
