The AAP issued a statement on Sunday saying 23 patients were missing from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) hospital. Not only that, the party said that the MCD is not even aware of it. AAP municipal in-charge Durgesh Pathak said North MCD mayor Jai Prakash lied that the police have made it clear that no such complaint has been registered.

According to AAP, MCD has about 4000 beds, but they have hardly given 200-250 beds for Delhiites. However, the BJP's MCD is not able to keep track of them. It has been learnt that AAP leader Durgesh Pathak quoted the news of missing patients from MCD and said, "Today, there is a report that 23 patients are missing from the hospital. These 23 patients are not in the hospital and no one in the hospital knows where the patients have gone".

Continuing, he said that unfortunately, when the media came to know about it and when the media asked the question, the BJP leaders have come down to lying. Referring to the Hindu Rao Hospital, the AAP leader said that water was not even available to the patients in the hospital and 23 patients are missing, where they are, admitted to another hospital or roaming the streets somewhere, the BJP does not know. The Aam Aadmi Party has demanded a strict probe against the mayor, and all those who are responsible for the missing patients.
