Jaipur: BJP's Lok Sabha MP from Chittaurgarh, Rajasthan, CP Joshi lashed out at the state's Gehlot government in Parliament today i.e. Tuesday (February 7). Accusing the Gehlot government of appeasement, he said that the Rajasthan government orders electricity for 24 hours during Ramadan, but does not worry about Navratri. Giving credit to the Modi government for the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, CP Joshi said that the Gehlot government of Rajasthan is getting temples demolished.

He targeted the ongoing tussle between CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot and took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, saying that Rahul should first join two people in Rajasthan. During this, MP CP Joshi, referring to Rani Padmavati, accused them of erasing their symbol, then the MPs of the opposition started creating a ruckus. They protested by accusing the MP of supporting Sati Pratha. The House proceedings had to be adjourned amid uproar and outcry from both sides.

At the same time, CP Joshi, while praising the Modi government for the provisions made in the budget and giving credit for the Ram temple in Ayodhya, said, 'Today Ayodhya is becoming the biggest cultural and spiritual center of the whole world.' You (Congress) gave an affidavit in the Supreme Court that Ram is imaginary, Ram never took birth. It was you (Congress) who committed the sin of deleting the page of Lord Shri Ram, Laxman ji, and Sita Mata from the constitution written by Babasaheb. You removed the page of Shri Krishna and Arjuna and removed the Sankat Mochan Hanuman ji.

The BJP MP said, 'My government is getting the Ram temple constructed in Ayodhya, and in Rajasthan Ram Darbar is demolished with bulldozers, which hurts. When my government builds Mahakal Lok, and Shiva temples in Rajasthan are being broken with drill machines, which hurts. But, there is such a government in Rajasthan, which says that electricity should be available for 24 hours during Ramadan days, they are not worried about Navratri. CP Joshi said that processions of Hindu organizations are stopped and terrorist organizations like PFI are given concessions.
