Supaul: A video of Triveniganj BDO taking bribe from Supaul in Bihar has gone viral on social media. It is clearly visible in the video that the Block Development Officer is taking bribe from the former chief. When the former chief asks about CCTV, the BDO says- 'Nothing is recorded in it. It's only used to scare. You rest assured'. After the matter came to light, Collector Kaushal Kumar has ordered for investigation. The incident is of Asha Kumari, the development officer of Triveniganj block of the district. Where a video of taking a bribe of 20 thousand rupees for the implementation of the Panchayat scheme has come to the fore.

In this video of about 2 minutes 45 seconds, there is also a rift between the Block Development Officer and former chief Shivnarayan Yadav over increasing the amount of bribe. The discussion about the transaction between the two is also clearly heard in the viral video. In which the Block Development Officer of Triveniganj is demanding a bribe of 25 thousand rupees from husband Shivnarayan Yadav, the former head of Gudiya Panchayat of the area, in the name of payment of Rs 10 lakh under the Saat Nischay Yojana.

While the head husband is adamant on finalizing the matter by taking 20 thousand rupees. The chief talks about shutting down the CCTV installed in the BDO office. BDO Asha Kumari says that the wire of CCTV has been cut. CCTVs have been installed just to scare.
