Gosalpur: Monsoon has entered Madhya Pradesh. Due to rain, contact with many villages is lost. In the Sihora Legislative Assembly, the rupture in the river Barane between Ramkhiria and Katra village, located ten kilometers from Gosalpur, has not been formed even after a year has passed, as soon as the rains start, 25 villages on the other side of the river contact with Gosalpur.

In the year 2019, due to the heavy rains in August, a 27-year-old bridge over the Barne river was ruined. Due to the flow of the bridge, the movement of villagers of about 25 villages settled on the other side was stopped for about a month. The villagers and students of the village concerned were forced to come to the other side, putting their lives at risk. Sihore MLA Nandani Maravi submitted a memorandum to the Collector regarding the early construction of the bridge. However, the Collector had instructed the officials of Public Works Department and Rural Engineering Department to prepare an estimate. Villagers have to bear the brunt of the hue and cry of departmental officers.

Due to non-construction of the bridge, the movement of people from more than two dozen villages including Katra, Ramkhiria, Simaria, Mann village, Panchkundi, Kneel, Pauri on the other side will stop in the coming rain. Due to non-construction of the bridge, people have to travel a distance of 8 to 10 kilometers without any reason. The people of the village kneel said that the bridge has passed for a year, but no action has been taken so far.
