Alwar: Rupram is a poor farmer in Hajipur Dadikar village, about 16 kilometers from Alwar, but after 6 years his poverty will be wiped out by the fragrance of sandalwood. That means 250 sandalwood trees 30-30 feet high are standing in half bigha field of Rupram. Which were sown five years ago and will be harvested and sold in about 6 to 7 years. Then the price of a tree will be about Rs.1 to 1.5 lakhs.

That is what will earn Rupram Rs.2.5 to Rs.3 crores. Then Rupram will come under the category of a middle farmer and not a poor one. However, in half a bigha field, the farmer can earn most of 20,000 rupees in a year. It can earn a maximum of Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh in 10 years, but sandalwood is likely to earn 100 times more. It looks nothing short of a miracle.

At the same time, Rupram's son said that his father had planted sandalwood trees about 5 years ago. When he was suggested by a knowledgeable person that he could earn well from the sandalwood tree. Fortunately, the land of Hajipur Dadikar was reduced to Chandan Ras. The plants have grown up to 30 feet in five years. Now, in the next 6 to 7 years, they will become bigger and thicker. Rupram's sons are also well aware that sandalwood will sell for about 5 to 6 thousand rupees a kilo. In addition, the price of oil from the root of the sandalwood tree is also sold at Rs. According to it, a tree will earn about Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh. While 250 trees are planted in his field.
