A shocking incident comes to light from Tamil Nadu’s Chennai where a woman was gang-raped by three men on Sunday. The 26-year-old woman was raped by her lover and his friends. The woman decided to leave her husband and be with her lover. When she asked him to marry her he raped her with his friends.
As per the information, One of them took her to a secluded house on the pretext of going shopping. As of now, all three were arrested based on a complaint filed by the survivor. The incident reportedly happened in Pularambakkam near Thiruvallur. The victim is a mother of two.
According to the information the 26-year-married woman was in a relationship with a 20-year-old youth. The accused has been identified as Vijayakumar. The woman was not living with her husband and wished to get a divorce. The accused and the woman were in a relationship for the past six months. The woman had recently revealed her intention to get married to him and never return to her husband.
The accused had promised to accompany the woman to the market He promised her to buy her a saree, among other things and took her to a secluded house. He raped her. He left her alone in the house claiming that he was summoned to the hospital as his brother met with an accident. He then sent two of his friends to the house while the woman was alone.
The other two accused has identified as Samraj (27) and Sathish (27). They raped the woman and threatened her with consequences if she told anyone about it. The victim managed to get an autorickshaw to Pullarambakkam and explained everything to the cops at Thiruvallur Taluk police station. All three of them arrested and Police are investigating into the matter.
