India’s six prime minister, also recognized as Indira Gandhi's son who was brutally thrown into politics because of really hapless circumstances.

It is believed that Rajeev never wanted to join the dirty grounds of politics, he was already doing a respectable job. Being a pilot was all he wanted from the early ages of his life.

His Italian wife left her very own country for the love of this man. He was a soft-spoken and kind-hearted person, loved by all. In fact, he was people’s man.

He was always interested in photography, clicking pictures wherever he went, he always had a camera in his hand.

It was so unfortunate that he did not ever want to join the politics but the sudden death of his younger brother forced him to take this step. Although his wife never wanted him to join anyway, he had no choice.

Sonai had clearly said “ you will get killed” to which he said, “I would be killed anyway”

After his mother’s assassination, the young man had made priorities clear in his head, he wanted to be the next prime minister.

He was killed in Tamil Nadu, the assassinators planned it for 21st may 1991. That remorseful day, when India lost one of it’s the most dedicated politician. This hero is going to be remembered by the people always. Since his death, 21st may is declared as anti-terrorism day in India.
