Mumbai: Everyone in Maharashtra is worried about the ever-increasing corona infection. There is a corona infection in the general public to the state jails. As per information received, 284 cases of covid are active in jails across the State. These include 198 prisoners and 86 jail staff. At the same time, 15 deaths have been reported from the epidemic, including 7 prisoners and 8 jail staff. In addition, vaccination is also going on in jails. As per the information received, 1326 prisoners and 3112 jail staff have been vaccinated during this period.

Let us also inform all of you that the Government in Maharashtra has declared a mini curfew for the next 15 days across the State to break the chain of corona infection. In fact, Covid's new guidelines have been in place since 8 pm last Wednesday. It is scheduled to come into force till 7 am on May 1. Only essential services will be exempted during this period. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed the people of the state through social media last Tuesday night.

He said, movement of people and non-essential services will be restricted. Thackeray also said, "Section 144 of crpc will remain in force during this period under which five or more people cannot gather together. At the same time, they have not named the new restrictions 'lockdown'. Necessary services will be allowed but religious, social, cultural and political functions will be completely banned in the state till May 1.
