New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday said that it will lodge plea in opposition to the verdict of the Special CBI Court that found not guilty all accused in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case.

The agency reported that ED will study the order and filed the petition in the high court and prepared with maintainable proofs and inquiry, A per the PTI report quoting sources close though, it's still not clear if the case registered by the ED in opposition to the accused was rejected by the Special Court just because the predicate offence investigation of the CBI was also discarded or there were other reasons behind its order.

For now, the CBI also said that it would study the special court judgment on the 2G spectrum scam case and then decide the prospect course of action.

The CBI court judgment also triggered huge celebrations in Delhi and Tamil Nadu, where DMK followers were seen distributing sweets.
