According to an official statement by the management company L’ July Entertainment, on July 26, “2PM’s Chansung and his wife recently have been blessed with a daughter." Additionally, Chansung also posted a handwritten letter on his own Instagram in 2021 to announce his plans of marrying his girlfriend, and about her being pregnant. His wife is not a celebrity and is known to be eight years older than him.
The singer-actor is planning on continuing his activities regardless of the birth of his first child. He will also be seen to attend the VIP premiere of 'Hansan: The Appearance of the Dragon' to be held on the evening of July 26th, to support band member Ok Taecyeon, who plays the role of Im Jun Young in the film. The group released their full album ‘MUST’ back in June 2021, making it the first full group activity in 5 years, drawing attention to the group.
Chansung is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter and actor, part of the Korean boy band 2 PM, he first made his acting debut back in 2006 with the comedy series ‘Unstoppable High Kick’, and since then has gone on to star in the Japanese drama ‘Kaitō Royale’ (2011) and ‘7th Grade Civil Servant’ (2013).
