Three friends who had gone for a bath in the River Yamuna drowned. None of them knew how to swim. All three were minors. He was a resident of Village Saran, Naharpur and Barhedi in Haryana. Police started searching when they came to know that the boys had drowned in the river near Dhikka Tapri village on Thursday afternoon. It has been revealed that the area falls in Uttar Pradesh. Somehow their bodies were brought out of the river. His body was kept in an ambulance. The family also gathered at the spot.
In this regard, police said that the deceased have been identified as Rahul (17), a resident of Village Saran, Happy (14), a resident of Naharpur and Vishesh (14), a resident of Barhedi. They were friends among themselves. The trio was pulled out of the water by people from nearby villages. The bodies were later taken into custody by the police. Police said the post mortem is scheduled to be conducted on Friday. Up police say it is taking necessary action.
