A mother strangled her 3-year-old daughter to death. The 26-year-old woman was angry with the innocent daughter for always taking her father's side. The two husbands and wife had a debate over TV remote control recently and the daughter had sided with the father. This added more to the woman's anger.

The woman, Sudha, took her to an under-construction building and strangled her daughter to death. Sudha works as a housekeeping staff at a tiles shop in western Bengaluru. Husband Iranna is a daily wage laborer.  It has been revealed that Sudha continued to pretend to have her daughter missing. She also registered a missing report of the daughter with her husband with the police. Sudha told police that she had taken the daughter out of the house to the chaat shop to feed cabbage Manchurian. The daughter was not there when she went to pay the bill.

Shortly thereafter, a passerby passed by the building under construction and saw the body of the girl. He reported it to the police. Police rushed to the spot. Police called Sudha and Iranna after the girl was identified.  According to reports, the police suspected Sudha's words. Police questioned Sudha about going to the chaat shop. Sudha confessed to the crime of strangulating her daughter as the police looked firm.
