31 workers test positive for corona in PepsiCo factory

Samba: 13 more new cases of corona have been registered in Samba district of Jammu Kashmir. These infected people include 10 employees of PepsiCo factory in Badi-Brahmana. Last day also 18 workers of this factory were found to be corona infected. So far, a total of 31 factory workers have been found to be coronavirus positive, while more than one hundred have not been reported yet.

At present, more than 400 employees of this factory have been kept in Quarantine and along with their samples, their contact tracing is also being done. Those found infected include ten BSF personnel, 1 BSF jawan, an IRP jawan and an airport man. On the other hand, people have got some relief from the report of the relatives of a woman found corona infected in Ward-8 of Vijaypur last week.

The woman, who returned from Pathankot about ten days ago, was found to be corona positive, after which samples of her family members were found negative today. The total number of corona-infected cases in the district has reached 199, with 13 new infections detected on Monday. Of these 120 infected have been cured, after which the number of active cases is 79.
