33 died in a tragic bus accident at Raigad district of Maharashtra

Mumbai, July 28: In a tragic incident at Raigad district of Maharashtra a bus carrying 34 passengers fall down in the deep narrow valley. 33 reported to be killed in the accident occurred at Ambenali Ghat region of the area.

Thirty-four staffs from the Dapoli Agriculture University of the Konkan region were heading towards the Mahabaleshwar, a hill station in Satara district when the accident caused such a huge havoc.

As per the reports of PTI the District Collector, Vijay Suryawanshi elaborated the incident that occurred in 550 feet deep gorge at Ambenali Ghat near Poladpur town.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), a dozen ambulances and 15 doctors are involved in the rescue and trying to pull out the bodies that are stranded there.

One of the passenger among those 34 staffs named Prakash Rajaram Savant Desai survived the accident as he jumped out of the bus on time.

SP Anil Paraskar anecdotes and said that the staffs were heading to the destination for a picnic but while taking a turn the driver lost the balance and the bus, unfortunately, slipped into the gorge.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis provide condolences to the death of people and promised that every necessary requirement will be fulfilled.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed: “Pained by the loss of lives due to a bus accident in Maharashtra's Raigad district. My condolences to those who lost their loved ones: PM @narendramodi”

 

 

The Congress President, Rahul Gandhi expressed grief while saying “I'm sorry to hear about the terrible bus accident in Raigad, Maharashtra in which a large number of people have been killed and many others injured. I appeal to Congress party workers in the area to provide all possible assistance to the injured & families of those who have died,”
