34.4 mm rainfall recorded in Bhopal in 24 hours

Bhopal: Monsoon has entered Madhya Pradesh. For the last few days, it has been raining in many districts of the state. After a day's humidity and heat in the capital, water fell once again in Bhopal on Thursday evening. Senior Meteorologist Mamta Yadav said "In the last twenty-four hours, Bhopal city recorded 34.4 mm of rainfall, while Bairagarh had only 0.4 mm of water. Due to this, the low lying areas of the city, as well as the main roads were flooded."

Due to the heat and humidity of the day in the city, the day temperature reached 34.3 degrees Celsius. It started raining after cloudy on Thursday evening. Fierce water also fell in the city for about two hours. However, even after this, the night temperature was high. It reached 24.9 degree Celsius on Wednesday night.

There was lightening in many parts of the state till Friday morning. The Meteorological Department has predicted similar rains with thunderstorms and showers in some areas throughout the state in the coming twenty-four hours. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the upper parts of Sagar, Ujjain and Betul in the next twenty-four hours. Up to 50 mm of rain is expected here. The weather will remain the same for two to three days. After that, there is a possibility of heavy rain. As the monsoon moves eastward, the trap line is moving upwards. Due to this, the rain is decreasing.
