A family of 12 members was involved in 34 cases of theft. The entire family together did all the robberies.police officials arrested them on Tuesday. Along with the family, police recovered cash, jewelry and other electronic items. Police also recovered stolen vehicles. The family plans the robbery and then they execute it in which each one is assigned with a specific work. The arrests were made after two members of the family North Zone police has arrested an entire family, including siblings and a brother-in-law, where the men burgled houses and committed other offenses, the women helped them conceal the stash and sell the same. 

The 12 persons, who were involved in as many as 34 cases, were arrested on Tuesday and Rs 7.16 lakh cash, 5kg gold ornaments, 12.5kg silver, electronics gadgets and four stolen bikes were recovered from them.

The one-bedroom flat of the family in Neredmet is also sealed by the police. The flat is registered in the name of Ashiya Begum, which was brought with stolen property. 

The family even destroyed the CCTV footages while they were commencing the robberies and they also destroyed the recorders to avoid detection.
