Amethi , Eight persons attacked a 34 year old man near Pure Amethiyan on Kishni-Jainabganj road here, after which, he suffered with injuries.
On the complaint of Aslam an FIR was lodged against five named and three unknown persons, said SHO Bazar Shukul Santosh Yadav.
The victim was rushed to hospital.
The convicts were identified as Jalil, Bablu, Guddu and Khali of Pure Dayal village in Amethi district and Lal Mohammad of Pure Jait Subeha of Barabanki district.
The reason behind the attack may be old enmity, and no arrests have been made yet.
