The consumption of alcohol and its heavy consequences in Delhi has been revealed. A study by AIIMS, the largest medical institutions in the country, has revealed that in Delhi about 6 crore rupees of alcohol and about 5 lakh liters of alcohol are being sold every month. Its direct impact is seen on emergency departments of all hospitals, including AIIMS, where hundreds of injured admitted occur every night, while more than half die.  Dr. Atul Ambekar, a senior doctor of AIIMS, said that the National Drug Survey of 2019 was released last month by the Union Health Ministry. This report has raised serious questions about the consumption of narcotics in the country. There is no doubt that alcohol addiction has increased in the country.

Those who have good financial status, they consume expensive brands, whereas the use of this is increasing in road accidents. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), consumption of alcohol in the world has increased by about 5 percent of the diseases. In India, Liver, kidney failure patients are coming out very fast. Doctors also believe that patients from sick, liver, kidney, heart, lung, etc. are increasing in road accidents due to alcohol in almost all hospitals. It is estimated that 20 percent of OPD patients are approaching the hospital due to alcohol, in every hospital.
