New Delhi: The program of the postponed national game has been released. The 36th National Games will be held in Goa from October 20 to November 4 next year. Indian Olympic Association has given this information. The union fixed the date after meeting the Goa delegation. IOA Secretary General Rajiv Mehta said, 'It was decided in the meeting held today that the National Games will be held in October November next year. Goa officials have promised that the infrastructure will be ready in time.
The meeting was attended by top officials of IOA and Goa Sports Minister Babu Ajgaonkar, Sports Secretary J Ashok Kumar, VM Prabhudesai. In April, the IOA had asked Goa to pay a fine of ten crore rupees for repeatedly postponing the national game. After this, the Government of Goa had assured no further delay in organizing the Games.
