Mumbai: A fight converted a brother into a murdered as an incident occurred in which 37-year-old man stabbed his sister to death in Old Navy Nagar in south Mumbai on Tuesday.
The accused Shyam P Salla escaped from the spot after the move. Later, he was arrested in the evening.
According to a senior police official,“Rajashree Mehotra, was married but staying with her brother Shyam and their mother due to a stressed relationship with her husband”.
“Shyam often quarreled with her as she was not staying with her husband and in-laws. The two had a heated exchange on the issue this afternoon and Shyam stabbed Rajashree with a kitchen knife”, he added.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway on this matter.
