In fact, a total of 39 people, including prisoners and 6 children, have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection during the last 10 days in the Byculla Mahila Jail here. As per the information received, this information has been given by an official of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

He said a total of 120 prisoners were examined during this period. He also said that 36 out of 39 people suffering from infection have been kept in separate residences at nearby Patanwala School and their condition is stable.
