Washington - A female teacher in the United States has been sentenced to six years in prison for seducing her son's minor friend and having sex with him hundreds of times. The woman was arrested by authorities in Florida in 2020. According to a report, the woman had sex with a high school student for nearly a year. However, questions arose several times about the age of the student. Initially it was reported that the victim is 15 years old, but the court held that he is above 12 years of age and below 16 years of age.

Court documents say that the accused teacher will be registered as a sex offender and will get a separate sentence of five years after the jail term. Media reports suggest that the female teacher had sex with her son's younger friend several times in a year. The woman used to have sex with her almost every day. The court was told that the incident of having sex with the victim took place at their homes, their car and beach. Escambia County School District Superintendent Malcolm Thomas said the accused female teacher resigned from her post as a teaching resource expert at JE Hall Center.

According to the report, the friend of the female teacher's son confessed to the authorities that he had been having sex with the woman for more than a year. The teenager told investigators at the Escambia County Sheriff's Office that the sexual relationship between them began when he was 15 years old and the female teacher was 39 years old. During a relationship that lasted more than a year, the female teacher allegedly gave the teenager a gift of several valuables, including the iPhone.
